To foster leadership for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Climate Agreement we advocate for governmental policymaking with current leaders – decision makers as well as offering direct opportunities to future leaders – change makers. Your Future in Green Jobs
The Ban Ki-moon Foundation presents the “Your Future in Green Jobs” Online Course. Designed for people of 14-20 years old, this course aims to empower youth to connect their passion, interests, and skills with meaningful careers that address climate change head-on.
Accelerator Fund
The Ban Ki-moon Foundation and the Ban Ki-moon Foundation, New York designed the Accelerator Fund to empower young changemakers in the Global South who are making waves for sustainable development but are facing a lack of funding.
Learners to Leaders: Nurturing Change Makers through Global Citizenship Education
The Learners to Leaders program empowers Global Citizenship Education (GCED) practitioners from formal and informal education in Europe, Africa and Middle-East to become change makers for GCED.
Elevating the Voices of Women in Agriculture
The Elevating the Voices of Women in Agriculture (EVWA) Campaign raises global awareness of women farmers’ realities and showcase policy and grassroot actions that contribute to their empowerment.
Elevating Agricultural Adaptation
The Ban Ki-moon Foundation's Elevating Agricultural Adaptation Program (EAA) advocates for agricultural adaptation to secure new commitments for climate smart agriculture and to advance the adaptive capacities of smallholder farmers.
Global Citizenship Education
The Ban Ki-moon Foundation advocates for the integration of Global Citizenship Education around the world, aiming to empower learners of all ages to assume active roles, both locally and globally, in building more peaceful, inclusive, and sustainable societies.
Advising the Austrian Government on the SDGs
The Ban Ki-moon Foundation works closely with the Austrian Federal Chancellery on its strategy to accelerate the full implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on a national level.
Global Citizen Scholarship Program
The Scholarship Program empowers young global citizens with tailor-made academic trainings, mentoring and peer-to-peer exchange to develop their own “SDG Micro-Project”.
Global Citizen Fellowship Program
The Fellowship Program empowers young global citizens to lead for the Sustainable Development Goals with tailor-made leadership training, unique networking opportunities, and guidance to implement an “SDG Micro-Project”.
Global Citizen Mentorship Program
The Mentorship Program empowers young women with a one-on-one mentoring process that is designed to build their leaderships skills and encourage them to implement an “SDG Micro-Project” with their mentor.
Online Executive Training: Young Women Leadership on Climate Adaptation
The Online Executive Training elevates the leadership of young African women by strengthening their knowledge, skills and network to lead climate adaptation solutions.
Engaging Austrian Youth with the SDGs
The Ban Ki-moon Foundation conducts expert workshops and lectures on the Sustainable Development Goals to create awareness, foster knowledge and action with Austrian youth on the Sustainable Development Goals.
Global Citizenship Poster Competition

ASEAN youth representatives took part in a virtual webinar series with workshops on the Sustainable Development Goals, Global Citizenship and “SDG Micro-Project” Implementation to become youth leaders in their communities.
